If the debt is Business to Business in nature, backed by accurate paperwork and undisputed by your debtor, chances are we can collect what is owed on a genuine "no collection = no commission" basis.
We need a copy of the contract, agreement or order, copy invoices in the correct legal name of your debtor along with their contact details to open a claim.
Please do not send original documents like unpaid invoices or signed contracts by unregistered post, as we can not guarantee safe receipt or return.
No. The above information is all that is required for the instruction of one of our International Debt Collection partners.
If further documentation is required this will be requested at a later date.
Rates for undisputed UK debt collection claims start at 5% of any recovered amount and international B2B debt collection rates start from 10% on a strict "no collection = no commission basis".
This contingency, pay on success fee varies depending on the age of the invoices, amount outstanding and other case specifics.
No advance fees for undisputed B2B claims and no hidden or abortive charges to pay in any debt collection case we handle.
Please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Our fee is a simple percentage of any payment made by the debtor.
So for example if the contingency debt collection fee is 10% and your debtor pays £1,000 the fee is £100 plus VAT.
If the fee is 20% and the debtor pays £10,000 we would charge £2,000 plus VAT and so on.
But the debtor has to pay something before we charge anything.
Yes we do.
At Paja Debt our standard UK Debt Collection & International Debt Collection services are provided on this basis.
If any chargeable extras are required (e.g. a land registry search or debtor trace) we will always seek written authorisation from you before you incur any charges.
No you are not.
We may advise a course of action but you stay in complete control of your exposure to additional costs at all times.
We do not charge any abortive cost or fees if your undisputed B2B claim remains unpaid. The service is provided on a "no collection = no commission" basis.
In most cases a successful recovery is easily defined by you receiving cleared funds into your account.
We may also raise an invoice under other extremely limited circumstances as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
If you issue a credit note or accept a return of goods after our instruction, we may raise an invoice on the value of any credits raised.
If after instruction an account is placed on hold with us and subsequently paid, we will raise an invoice at the agreed rate.
If an account is closed by you after instruction and we subsequently confirm payment has been received, we will invoice you at the agreed rate.
We may also raise an invoice under other extremely limited circumstances as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
Yes we do.
Throughout the debt collection process we will continually profile and monitor your debtor. This enables us to keep watch for any early signs of financial difficulty or insolvency.
This approach often provides useful intelligence that is vital should court action be required in recovery. We also monitor your debtors using the service provided to us by Experian Small Business.
Every account is different and as such it is impossible to give an accurate indication at the enquiry stage.
It is sometimes as little as 24 hours from engaging us to receiving payment, but other accounts may take longer to resolve if the balance is in query or if the debtor is struggling financially.
However in most cases an account is either paid (or being paid in installments), closed at no charge or in litigation within 12 weeks of our instruction.
Our success rate is very high, but each debt is different and no agency can collect every single account they receive.
As long as the account is undisputed and the debtor is solvent the chances are we will be able to collect what is owed to your business.
Disputed debts are not included in the contingency debt collection service. Please contact us and we will review the claim on a free, no obligation basis.
Yes we do.
We provide access to leading legal firms across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and internationally.
However please note that we do not bankroll the legal costs of other profit making enterprises.
You do.
If we are unable to secure payment in pre-legal collection we may recommend that proceedings are issued against the debtor.
We will only recommend legal action in cases where we believe you have a reasonable possibility of not only securing the judgment, but of actually getting paid.
However the final decision is yours.
No you don't.
If the outstanding amount is less than £10,000.00 we may actively encourage you to make use of the Small Claims track at County Court via Money Claim online (MCOL).
Otherwise we can liaise with your chosen legal services firm for the issue of legal proceedings if you wish.
In Small Claims any solicitor's fees you incur are generally not recoverable from the debtor.
If you instruct a solicitor and a defence is filed you can quickly find your non recoverable legal fees exceed the sum claimed.
This is not an issue if you issue proceedings "in-house" as a litigant in person.
That's great, we will transfer the file to our solicitors and manage the issue of proceedings on your behalf.
Please note legal costs are not included in our fee and remain the clients' responsibility at all times.
For transparency.
Some Debt Collection agencies will add an extra 10-50% on top of legal charges prior to invoicing the client. When you pay the solicitor direct you know the legal fee is just that (and not a hidden charge from us).
Please note legal costs are not included in our fee and remain the clients' responsibility at all times.
Yes you do.
Our agreed fee is payable on any recovered amount paid by the debtor.
Probably and if not, we are certain we can recommend someone who can. Please contact us for a free, no obligation claim review.
You're in luck, our MD Adam Home has been in this business his entire working life and he has a wealth of experience and industry contacts that means if he cannot help, chances are he knows someone who can. Please contact us for a free, no obligation review.
